About the Journal

Bustan Journal of Community Engagement (BJCE) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Bustan Rumah Journal. The journal aims to disseminate conceptual ideas, best practices, and research-based community service activities conducted by academics, practitioners, and students in responding to social, educational, economic, cultural, and environmental challenges.

BJCE serves as a scholarly platform for the publication of community engagement outcomes that emphasize the integration of knowledge, technology, and local wisdom to empower communities and promote sustainable development. The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches and innovative models of community service that contribute to social transformation and public welfare.

The journal welcomes manuscripts that report the implementation, evaluation, and impact of community service programs, including but not limited to educational empowerment, capacity building, applied technology, socio-economic development, cultural preservation, environmental sustainability, and digital-based community engagement initiatives.

Bustan Journal of Community Engagement (BJCE) is published biannually (two issues per year) and is open to contributors from national and international institutions.
